Was wondering what people throught of grounding kits what benifits do they have ~? and if they are recommended who sells them ? Smithy ?

If you have poor earths on the car (and fancy a bit of bling) then they may make a difference to smoothness of running etc.

they definatly benefit older cars due to corrosion in cables / terminals which can lead to bad spark/ throttle response etc .. IMO the thicker the cable on the grounding kit the less resitance and voltage drop you will get .. i have an adapted version of Shrimpy's grouding kit ( he kindly donated me the diagram) as i require MASSIVE current to my huge amplifiers, but personaly for every day Zeds a shrimpy kit will be more than adequate, plus hes a genuinly nice chap , so customer support is second to none, just noticed he is no longer a trader , but you can find him at http://www.groundingkits.co.uk
