Just received a phone call from Phil at Blackmoor Service Station , it was all silent, then I heard an engine start up. Woohoo its running.

Still a few things to finish off, interior has to go in. Then get the alignment done, as part of the project had all the bushes done. Then run her in and then get it booked in on the Dyno for mapping on the AEM which should be here tomorrow (thanks Smithy) and then start driving her again.

One happy chappy :)

Will post some pics hopefully next week

cool mate :) what work were you having done?

Cheers guys,

Alex, the car was off the road most of last year while the bodywork done. Once completed its started to smoke, so got put away for the rest of the year. So the winter project was to have a full rebuild, starting with JWT530bb, 615inj, AEM ECU, and lots of bling bits, pretty much everything apart from the block is new, or upgraded. Spec list is in my rides section

Yes Iain, few little changes along the way. Not using the AFC now, but AEM.

Iain, had it removed last year, still think that spoiler was best looking spoiler for the zed but for me obscured my rear view in the mirror, so had it removed and since sold it.

Heres some pics of when it was fitted if it helps.

I know Steve and Phil even tried to get me to help lift his gearbox off.(Nice Flywheel by the way scoops). Took me too long to get into a pair of overalls though. Anyway it's me next on the ramp for some C & S TLC.
