hi i have just taken delivery of my new z and all the wires have been ripped out of the collumn, there what looks like another barrel with five pin behindail is vadamcole@aol.com if you need pics to help me please email me and i will send you them, i dont think i can post them on here as im not a subscribed member. i am in a rush to get it going so i can check the running of the car. thanks

yes mate the red one. it was a stolen vehicle which was damaged. i need to know how i can wire it all back so i can see whether it starts. but apart from the light damage the car is mint and has been well looked after. so im guessing the engine will purr like a pussy cat fingers crossed. Trying to get it finished for silverstone so im in a little bit of a rush so any advice would be appreciated

Do search for '300zx online manual' mate,wiring diagrams are there! ;)

its all japaneese to me lol im no sparky does any one know what the second thumb nail is?

my guess is, if its a stolen recovered then the stearing lock will be smashed anyway, so you will have to replace the housing for the barrel. why not try to get another ignition switch, it comes with the wiring, just plug it in then. the pics dont really help that much though.

ive just had a look at the manual. look at - wiring diagram, page 3. its a 5 pin connector.
