and at what sort of cost ???

I would like someone located in the Midlands; as thats a bit better for getting the dam thing to them.

I cant recomend anyone, but you wont get much change out of £1200 for a rebuild. :( Spare Autoboxes can be picked up for a few hundred though.

there is a company in bristol and also a company nr cirencester! cant for the life of me think the names, ones in cirencester are probably best bet

as said not much change from £1000-1200

Best bet is to find a good second hand one but you don't know how long it will last.

If you're not too fussed about having an auto have you considered converting it to manual?

Will cost less than an auto rebuild and labour to swap and there's nothing much to go wrong in future apart from a clutch every now and again.

Yes thats right Billy; i do have to have an Auto due to needing to use hand controls, as i'm in a wheel chair.

I would LOVE to drive a manual car again; but never mind.

I guessed it was going to be about £1000 plus the VAT !!

You can get the car converted to a manual for pretty much the same cost as a rebuild of an auto.... I've been quoted £1400 from Paul and SWZ Performance, which I'll be taking up with him later in the year.

Hi Marcus Chester Automatic Transmition Sevices are very good. They have just rebuilt the box in my C70 T5R. It cost £1100 for the complete recon kit + labour. These are a real bast*rd to remove as the front subfame and drive shafts have to be removed.

So the whole job including supplying and fitting new front wheel bearings £ 2200.

01244 537070 ask for Mark and if you want the upgrade that Ryan at Ztech used to supply I'm sure if you talk to him he will get the parts for you.

Where abouts are you in Shropshire, Because if your car needs towing I know where you can Hire a trailer for £34 per day and I'll drag it up there for you with my pickup buck shee.
