Aftermarket front bumber fitting problem... tips..

:headvswal Hope you guys can give me some pointers here... Bought a front from a company called NMI styling. Fitment around the front lights is fine. But it's the side ends on the front that's the problem.. :headvswal Sticks out around 5cm on on side and 3 on the other side. I'm afraid that the one screw that hold the end in isn't enough. IF I can manage to press the side in.... Someone suggested to apply heat on the front under pressure. Not an expert on fiberglass. But can't see how that would help??

I would really appriciated any hints on what I could do in order to bend the front enough to make it fit....

from what I have seen from copies is that the area you are mentioning sticks out.

funny enough on genuine ones its not so bad. maybe they are more fussy about the end product.

personaly id get it ont properly by a bodywork place so you dont have to repair it in a weeks time.

Sounds like it's a poor quality molding.

It should be pretty close, 5cm is way out :(

Applying heat is a waste of time and will have no effect on shaping it. You will have to make some cuts to take some of the tension out of it.
