where can i get a set of those nice chrome rings cheap that go in the speedometer? also is it hard to get them in? i know how to get the speedometer out, but does that black part come out too?? so i can put the rings in easy?

ok danny is the man it sounds like! now i looked in that part of the forum and also followed the aboved link but i can't see no chrome rings anywhere, also no price anywhere...can some one post some info upon these? also his website has no info upon these

yeah i can't send messages here in this forum...but on his website dta motorsport (this is his website?) he is still closed till tomorrow the 6th

but i can email him from his site! will have to do that to get a price from him then :)

now these rings jsut stick on that easy? sounds great!

keep your fingers off the black painted bit surrounding the clocks its painted with a coating that shows up white , if its been touched , its to stop people clocking zeds i believe..so wear gloves or use a cloth to handle it

I see you are in Germany, in that case go to http://www.dta-motorsport.com instead, that's the Dutch site, as Danny would put you intouch with them anyway. You'll find them under Styling, interior/accessories. They are 45 EUR.

you da man! :dance: thanks for this link. i will get in touch with them and set me up with some chrom rings then! maybe they can help me out with my exhaust problem as well :)

@ sideshowbob i was going to follow these instructions to put in the rings. but if i don't have to do all that then even better! is there some instructions some where on how to install just the rings?

 

also thanks for the tip steve, i will put on some ruber gloves when i do the job! :cool:
