How much would it cost both low end, mid range and upper end to have a full respray in Gloss Black?

Featured Replies

low end... 15 quid for a tin of dulux once from wickes

mid range... 3k

top end... 6k

imo

Dulux Lol How much flattening down do you want to have to do afterwards :wack: :p

i would go with 1k for mid range and that would still be a good job unless you were to go for a Complete colour change.

I have been quoted between £800 and £1500 for a full respray.

The dulux is only £11.99 in B&Q

Yes but does it have any rust proofing properties?? Lol

if you do the prep work yourself on dent removal and scratch work then I have been quoted 1k on a candy apple red if I supply the paint and £800 for a flat respray same colour.

Don't go for a low end unless you want a few month bodge.

I went for that option and a year down the line it's all bubbly and a few blemishes and even lil runs.

If you shop around I still reckon £1,000 will get you a good job. Especially if you remove all the trim yourself.
