Auto Box Differences

Can anyone tell me if a Japanese Spec NA Autobox is the same as a TT UK Spec Autobox. I am having grief with me auto box and have the chance of an NA Autobox.

    i would say not, dont all the jap autos have the power and hold settings, as well as other differences like the lockup on second...?

    jap and uk are not the same because there is no such thing as an na/uk zed as they don't exist. the n/a bell housing is smaller but you can inter fit the two if you change the torque converter and drive plate !

    My thinking is that there might be differences inside the box relating to the higher torque of the TT engine so I dont think this is gonna work out......typical.

    Well that's good news, I've not seen him for a couple of weeks, so it looks like he's on track for a manual Z then.
