I just done me cam seals and buzzed it off with an electric buzz gun type chap, anti-clock to loosen. Can get you the torque if it helps.

    how do you get the variable cam pulley off? is the 19mm nut left or right hand thread? it seems pretty tight.

    You may find it easier to lock the pulley! Use a bar if you have no cam sprocket locking tool. Just be carefull. Then you will be able to remove the nut!

    i tried locking the cam in the vice but its on tight. i had a peg spanner in the pulley but i couldnt get any purchase on it.

    They are tight! i think from memory they are opposite thread :)
