Great weather, great cars and great women! I should have never come back!
Well, what can i say apart from- We get truly conned on this side of the pond!
I had a camero for 2 weeks which i borrowed from my aunt who has a house there. When i first drove it i was pleasantly surprised with its power and comfort- unfortunately it didnt know the meaning of corner but it didnt matter because the roads are all straight!
The most pleasant surprise came when after not so many miles the fuel tank needed to be replenished. So, i drove into the peppy and proceeded to fill her up (the car). It clicked off at 20 dollars!!!! The tank was full!! BARGAIN OR WHAT!!!!!! and that was premium unleaded!
Anyway another thing i noticed which was really bonkers was the fact that i must have seen at least 20 YES 20 300 zx's! And only one supra! Role reversal or what!!! Some of the zeds were a bit ropey but most were in really good nick. Swb and 2+2 what a good variety!
Another thing that really surprised me was the pure number of mitsi eclipses on the road over there! It seemed every guy and his dog had one. After seeing that they stared at 18,000 dollars new i understood why!
There was also a mutitude of cars not available over here apart from the eclipse ie- 180sx and 240 sx and a pretty groovy lexus.
The most pointless thing over there???? 100 dollar bill! Nobody ever has enough change for one
All in all it was really good and despite what people say about em i really liked the people over there.
Still, its good to be back, i missed the zed which i should add had not been run for 3 weeks and you couldnt even tell!
