Last Monday (9 days ago) I dropped my Z off at a J car specialist to, amongst other things, have the centre bearing replaced and the propshaft checked over / balanced if necessary. This should have been the last gasp at curing the prop vibes.

They assured me they had a local propshaft expert who could do this and that they would get it to him on Tuesday for him to fiddle with on Wednesday and refit on Thursday.

Fine.

Thurs I ring up - propshaft bloke gone to hospital so will be off work for a day. I will get my car back late Sat or Mon at latest.

Ring Mon - garage says propman won't answer his phone but we'll pick it up tomorrow.

Ring Tues - still hasn't answered the phone but we will send our mechanic round to get it.

Ring Wed - mechanic has been round to propbloke's house but not there. "Will drive round during the day today".

I'm losing business, going up the wall with worry and now I have to hire a car.

B*llocks.

Am I going to have to start to get legal with these guys or what? I want my Z back. (Wish I'd gone to Bradford, now.)

No names, no pack drill at the moment. The garage just e-mailed with a promise so I'll give them a chance. At the moment, I don't think they are at fault, just their supplier and if I ever find out who that is....
