relocating battery to the boot.

usually to make way for an oil catch tank in the battery's location, or some might say its for weight distribution but lets be honest on a car carrying as much lard as a 300 it won't make any difference.

    i wouldnt recomend 4 gauge cable especialy on the length of run .. id say 0 gauge atleast .. it will take the current needed over the distance on a DC circuit

    Jaffa I had to move mine to make room for part of my engine management and oil catch tank. The Z engine bay gets very hot and if you don’t keep checking the battery level it can soon dry up.

    IMHO Locating to the boot will increase the life of the battery as its much cooler in there;)

    Also do you keep standard battery Mac1, I would go for a lighter but don't know which spec.
