Anyone here go to the sports car show in Birmingham today apart from me and I think John Newcomb.

Flash cars everywhere. Lots of owners clubs but the Datsun/Nissan owners didn't want to know about the 300 just the old 240 and 280s etc.

Yeah I know

Dont know why there like that!

I`ve got a 73 240Z and a 300TT

And the 300 is the only decent

one since the 240

Surprised to hear about this attitude. Z Car club has always been nice and cuddly - for me anyway.

Their site has special section for both Z31 and our Z32 and our Zeds always feature in the mag.

Perhaps just an off day?

Nice people (please not the recent sh*t-stirring wankers) can visit www.zclub.net to see for yourselves.

They were very supportive about the recent parts charge fiasco and have several members of this forum in their ranks including respected parts and body bits suppliers.

I was there and I had great fun, but I was really glad I hadn't had to pay to get in. Unlike rpevious years the were not enough exhibitors for the cost of the entry ticket! If it wasn't for the cars there for the dream rides the show could be seen in 45/60 minutes flat.

for me the z club has always been like that and yet you get more 300's turning up at events and im not having it that the older z's are rarer and thats why not as many turn up

Yep, spent about 1.5 hours browsing around and speaking with John. I agree that the best thing about the show was the dream rides and what a shame about the Diablo with the big dent in the side ... must have hurt!

The guy with the purple Diablo got nudged by a french lorry driver who didn't see him and pulled out on him. The damage you saw was after it had been pulled out as best as could be done. It was a lot worse to start with and very very sickening. However I doubt he is that concerned you just had to see the blonde he brought to the show with him.........ummmmm she was better looking and less dressed than the Comma oil girlies. I knew there was an ulterior motive in doing the dream rides. And then of course there was the blonde model handing out autographs on the Porsche stand.

Hmmmmmm ... one must always have a backup plan!

Shame the guy from Little Aston with the Bugatti EB110 didn't participate ... I would have gladly booked the entire day in that car!

Take care,

Danny
