Have had my 300 for 2 years and i love as much today as i did when i first saw it. Maybe even more now.

This might sound sad but its fookin magic. You dont even have to drive it. Went in to a Wimpy on the way home for a late dinner and the bloke serving could not contain himself, he was creaming over it. Would not shut up. Eventually i left, went outside and there was a group of people admiring it wanting tio know what it was. Trouble is its a Nissan not something exotic.

Then drive up the road, boot it and go. Excellent.

Who needs a Ferrari.

Sorry sad i know, you all feel the same.

Same here, go anywhere in the 300 and it always attracts an admirer.

I've lost count how many people ask about the car at petrol stations. Once, this guy came over and told me his Renault 19 (I think or was it a 21) 2.0L was classed as a sports car, I don't think UK waste would have had it for a skip.

I tend to drive with the T-Bar off too (only exception rain), makes the baby look even better.

Saving up for the explosion body kit, then it'll be ma bitch.

I know what you mean, I went to Halfords/Ripspeed (whatever!) looking for 'Max Power' to see Iain's Z.

The bloke in the shop saw mine through the window & thought it was the one in the mag. He went outside & spent half an hour chatting and looking at my Z, said it gives hima buzz to see a 'proper car' like a Z, instead of all the wanker Nova/Saxo brigade wanting to slam their cars by 10 inches & put 20 inch wheels on them smile.gif

I just had the best 3 days ever.

Day 1 - spent at Elvington Airfield, £70 for all day doing timed runs up the 2 mile long runway in the company of manual SupraTT and Skylines. Got a personal best of 13.12sec and 111mph 1/4 mile and for an automatic that ain't bad! Ran to 156mph and very happy.

Day 2+3 - at NEC Sportscar Show, doing dream rides for Sporting Bears charity. Spent my time in the company of the worlds best sportscars, eg. cobra's, ferarri's, lambo's, porsches, vipers, lotus, etc and had hours blatting around the local roads whilst the paying passengers screamed, laughed, gasped at how fast and how beautiful it was. Earned £400 for childrens charities and buckets of pleasure.

Sometimes we forget how great the 300zxTT really is. Especially when compared to ordinary human beings normal shopping and company cars.

Gave up my mint Porsche 944 S2 16v for myZ, best thing I ever did...........

i'd swap my z for a cobra or gt40 tomorrow........both amazing cars that have none of todays goodies ie abs or traction control and as such you have to be careful all the time but still rewarding....i've been in a few cobras but never yet managed a gt40 more's the pity

At the nec sportscar show there were a few cobras including a supercharged one with a horrible whine/screeching from the SC and a white/blue gt40. Was not impressed with either of them on the road but the TVR's especially the Tuscan were really nice.
