just subscribed & coughed up the £20 ,ouch, that hurt. lol. anyway, ive been looking round for a 300 tt for a few weeks now with not much success. went to have a look at one today in chesterfield, but what a shed. so where better to start than a dedicated forum. so anyone wanting to sell a manual tt uk car then let me know.

welcome to the club mate. there's lots of advice on buy a good one on here.

dont discount the imports though. usually less rust

welcome to the club matey... check out our buying guide so your really clued up... also as your now a subscibed member im sure there will be people local to you that are more than willing to help you. as said, i wouldnt disregard a jdm model as they really are so much cleaner, i just got 1 fresh off the boat and it is immaculate structurally! its all the areas 'out of view' that generally cause the problems! and if its for insurance reasons i sold a uk version to get the jdm and my insurance went up 8 pounds! lol :)

good luck...

btw, theres a guy on here from previous for sale posts called 3ooz xxx, he is in belfast but his car seems a tidy uk example. if he gets his price he will deliver it to the english shores. might be worth a poke if your willing to travel ;)

thanks for the replies. joley, its a shame i didnt subscribe a few weeks ago as yours looked very tidy. typical me. seem to miss them. as for the insurance, they seem to get very funny with imports. at present i have a nissan qx 3L auto which i want shut of. i contacted my insurance yesterday about changing to a 300tt & they want another £100. may have to ring flux & see what they can do.

mine was ok if you didnt mind spending shit loads of money on it straight after you bought it! it didnt sell for 1600 quid for nothing ;) you pays ya money bud... though my new 1, i paid just over 4k for and am very happy with :) so chose carefully

i see you have put a wanted ad up saying that you only want to spend 2k... im not gonna put you on a downer and say it cant be done, but for the money you are about to part with be very careful! 2k is a lot of money and you could easily find yourself having to spend that again...this type of car will cost you an arm and a leg when it goes wrong... and generally, it is a 'when' it goes wrong situation! just my little bit of advise :)
