Ive used ebay since they first started but just lately some of the people are just to55ers!!

Sold my PS3 on there several weeks ago, this guy mails me saying it will be a week before he could pay me and is it ok to bid, so i say yeh no problems. Anyway he wins it and 3 weeks later he pays me via paypal, this was on friday last week.

Anyway i go away for the weekend to watch the football and get back in sunday and log onto my pc to find the dick has opened a paypal dispute as he has not recieved his goods :wack:

So got his money friday and he complains sunday even though he took 3 weeks to pay me!!

I went mental calling him a dick and told him to remove it to which he refused until he gets the item!! what a knob

The worse thing is he has the item now as it was sent special delivery and he hasnt closed it yet so i'm a little worried at the moment

I wouldn't put too much faith in being covered by paypal, they only cover you to £125 or something, unless of course you buy their 'special protection'.

One thing you could have done to teach the impatient muppet a lesson was send him a box with a brick in it (A george foreman grill would also have been funny), then there is proof for Paypal that you sent an item and he received it, then its his word against yours.

I just started a dispute against an ebay seller. Been almost 4 weeks and not heard anything, sent 3 emails, got no replies

Dont count on that! they can only give you a refund if the person that ripped you off has enough funds in their account. I am still waiting for a claim since Feb.

was this connected with me being unable to pay for the plugs last nite mike :(

Had a similar thing with a seller. I paid straight away through paypal. He then leaves me neutral feedback. I sent him a snotty e-mail throwing in a few f's and w's to which he replies that he was going to remove the feedback (which all know is near enough impossible) but that as I had been so nasty he now wouldn't.

I told him to stick it and left a follow up that was not to pleasant.

It works both ways. I wish as a buyer that once I have left feedback that the seller can't then give a tit for tat one. If I want to leave a negative feedback because the goods are crap then I shouldn't expect one back from the seller if I have paid promptly. I hate it when they chase you for feedback but haven't given you feedback because they use an automated system. How does that work for finding out how good and honest people are?

Rant over.
