best bet is dailling the number 101, police cant really do anything untill it becomes criminal damage or behaviuor

im not a copper but they have to stick by rules, otherwise when it goes to court they will be pissed on, granted they are slow, but as a property manager i understand when i get a phone call saying "the lad in room 2 is playing his music too loud" then when i go its not that loud it just that the lad in room one fancies a sleep in the afternoon

not saying that scubies complaint is like what i get, im m sure its serious as he has posted for advice

criminal damage or behaviuor

Lets just say your getting close.

sorry i said scubies complaint, instead of scoops

report it striaght away and also keep a dairy of events and damages, try and get witnesses, best bet is to catch them in the act

worse thing is if they are "educated aresholes" they will know the law and know the boundaries of the police (as i have found)

ts not the police you want mate. its a Van, some mates, An empty sand bag, some rope, and a Stanley knife....Ahem.....So ive heard. ;)

yep good idea in theory however, its not my problem, i dont want the person who has the problem to know i'm helping, its kinda complicated and for reasons i cant go in to its got to be done legally. If it didnt matter i would be the first one there trying to sort this scum out.

I'm a cooper does that help.

Sorry to trivalise the matter but report it.

You used to be able to report crime online but I just had a look and believe it or not the site is down for a new system to be installed and tested.

Come back in a year probably.

It says to report it to your local force.

and a rubber chicken if you wanna do the job properly ;)

Not a copper, but have a lot of experiance with this.

find out who is your Anti Social Behaviour co-ordinator for your local force and have a chat with them.

http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/anti-social-behaviour/reporting-asb/

Log, record, videotape all incidences. (be warned it is illegal to take photoes of chidren, they can swing it that your a perv)

Get a lawyer.

Each time there is a issue, phone the police immediatly and ask for a crime number. The police wont act immediatly, but if you phone again within 10-20 minutes and give teh opperator the crime number a car will be there very quickly.

The tip here is to sopt teh problem early, ring, then ring again ;)

I got some good info from this site, a lot of it is BS but if you have to do things properly then this is the way you have to go

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/CrimeJusticeAndTheLaw/CrimePrevention/DG_4001652

Failing that I understand there are security companies that can be employed to "help" with the situation.
