Our L reg zed has been running in safety boost & we wanted to get it checked out but can anyone tell me if it's ok to drive to our nearest specialisr garage 60 miles away or would it be better for us to get it towed? Any ideas as to what's wrong with the car & what it might cost to fix it?

First of all Do an ECU test yourself to see what error codes it has :

That will give you an indicatation of the actual fault.

 

There should'nt be any reason why you cant drive it, a suprising amount of zeds are running around on safety boost.
