Hi, looking for an Electronic Boost controller, but does it have to be dual solenoid (for example)

And is a cheaper "proper make" unit OK, or does it need to be a clever unit to cope with the two turbos.

Thanks.

theres a wide range of EBCs mate. doesnt need to be specific to the Z - all of the mainstream EBCs can be fitted to a Z - ApexI AVC-R, Blitz SBC-ID3 or DSBC, HKS EVCs, GReddy Profec B/E-01. i'll have a Blitz DSBC-R up for sale soon as Im upgrading mine. not sure about it having to be dual-solenoid tho - my DSBC-R is dual whereas the DSBC-S isn't but Im sure Ive heard of a member with a -S fitted to his Z.

OK, thanks for that, how much for your Blitz DSBC-R? Why you upgrading? And when do you think it will be for sale, although I am in no rush...

they seem to be going for £179+ on fleabay but i'll be looking for a little over £100+p&p. i'll put more details in my for sale thread when its available (you got first dibs) - im booking my Z in for the EBC swap and PCV swap to be done as soon as possible really so fingers crossed we're talking about less than a month depending on how busy the garage is. im upgrading cos ive had the Blitz for over 2 years and fancy a new one - the e01 is supposed to be one of the best you can get, but then again it is over £300!
