just to let you all know my local nissan dealer rang me today they have now seen the light with the £25 parts search on inports

i have used my uk chassis no so many times to order parts for customers cars i think nissan must think its unreal how many cam belts,water pumps,knock sensors and head kits any one zed has had

he said nissan uk gave it a trial but they lost too much trade so they have now dropped all charges

But will that trade come back for them now they have proved to be twats (more than usual!) and many customers will have found cheaper independent spares suppliers that they didn't bother to track down before?

 

ChrisC - you're absolutely right.

 

But the principle was wrong so it was worth making a fuss to have changed. Should make our cars less difficult to sell, anyway
