Its been a hard decision and I've been selling/keeping for a while.

But I've made my mind up now and im calling it quits.

 

I've put a sale thread incase anyone wants the car as is, if the price is right, or im going to break it. Shame to do so, but money is money.

 

Its been a tedious year of Z'ing and never really had a good week of it, even with a cheap Z and an expensive Z!!!

 

I coulda had a real nice car with all the money I've thrown at these, lol, but it has been good!!! :dance:

I kinda feel that your so close to finishing this car that your letting the rust problem blow out of proportion. 99% of the Z's here will suffer from rust at some part in their life. I had a similar problem to yours and £200 at a body shop sorted it.

Even if I sorted it all I would sell it. And to fix that, I was gonna put a new clutch in, spray front bumper and new rear spoiler and get it MOT'd would cost loads and I wouldnt make it back on the sale.

 

Thats why breaking is gonna be the way to go, unless someone wants to take it on at the right price.

Come on mate, i've tood and frode about mine alot recently and realised if you've spent that much you may as well finish it off.

Decision is final im afraid guys. Its been over a year now of mostly fixing and spending. If I didnt own a house it would be ok.

Like I said, even if I sorted it I would sell it.

Can see where your coming from bud, at the end of the day... it's a car, nothing more, nothing less (albeit, a nice car), having read your previous

posts over the last few months, i'm surprised you've still got it to be honest!

But don't let this experience put you off z's, sure there are some dogs out

there, but theres also some good ones too.

i think 90% of ppl here have toyed with the idea of selling. i know i have recently...bills bills and more bills! just when you think its sorted...wham something else goes wrong! argghhh!!
