We did it; we went on a track day. :nana2: A present from my PA's;

We had a great time, plenty of track time cos it was 'open pit'.

 

I scared myself too many times (see photo) its the look of fear realy!!

 

Then after a great day it all went tits up; about 10 miles from home we lost all drive to the gear box ???? Not sure if it is the fluid that we have cooked or if its the bands gone. There seems to be a smell from the fluid but no abnormal colour.

 

Think we will change the fluid and have a look at the sump filter;if no lumps in it we will change fluid.

If the sump has nasty bits guess it could be a bit worse :mac1:

 

Just have to wait for delivery of sump gasket and bits.

 

Think it may be my last track day in the Zed ! :slap:

 

They even got the Zed on my birthday cake !! :hyper: :hyper:

Boldy i tell ya. Marcus does more stuff than most able bodied people i know. Never let's it stop him doing anything, got more balls than most, Disabled my fooking arse :rofl: can't keep up with him

a top day out mate, will be up soon to sort gear box out. hopefully not too bad as we had drive after it had cooled right down.,

I had a great day too as well as meeting Scubie, Hi mate. :D I was going around in my mates Evo 8 untill our day was cut short when an intake pipe blew off the turbo. :rant: We had to go to Wilkinsons to get some duct tape and cable ties to get us the 70 odd mile home. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: Can't believe there are no auto factors near. :confused:
