NZR. Video Software

I've got a still digital camera a Ricoh RDC-7 which you can do short digital movies on, however what software is best for loading up to and editing? Got moviemaker in XP but thats shite, any sugeestions please.

For ease of use Pinnicle studio 7 is very good, But dave hairy had problems wiht it recently. I have had no probs with it on my new pc.

I would agree with Warren that when it works it's great. I haven't resolved my problems so can't be sure what they are down to but common opinion seems to be memory (I have 256 Mb which doesn't seem to be enough) and a good quick hard drive (7200 spindle speed).

 

You'll only notice the problems once you start working with big files. I can't yet state that the problems are anything to do with the software although it you check out for forums on the Pinnacle site, I'm not alone.

I use adobe premiere, its simple to do easy stuff like cutting and audio editing, and then you have all the complex stuff which adds a touch of class to your movies,
