Hi guys, Not posted much lately as ive been away to aussie for a while and been busy with the buisness. Anyways as some of you may know i had the the bottom end done on my car just after xmas and shes still runnin well, problem is i have noticed the clutch has started to slip when cold.

Is this normal for clutch slip? As when youve drove the car for a while the slip seems to disapear.

How much could i buy a clutch kit for?

Has anyone upgraded there clutch lately and still got a good 2nd hand clutch?

Let me know.

Cheers ;)

it might be you rear main crank seal leaking a small amount of oil on the clutch and as the car warms up it is burning it off. Same thing was happening to mine.

Clutch seal is about £6 but gearbox out to fit it.

hope this helps

Cheers James.

I thought that aswell mate but when i had the sump off and the plate on the bottom of the bell housing the inside of the clutch and flywheel seamed dry with no signs of oil.

Looks like i,m gonna have to pull the gearbox out and insect the whole clutch and seal.

Any other things that i should look at while the box is out?

cheers

you need to take the flywheel off to get to the seal, if your after a clutch dont buy one from america, i bought one from z1 motorsports and they shafted me by selling me an rps street clutch with a normal clutch plate !!! speek to smithy he is as good as they get and will look after you on a new clutch. I dont evny you getting all this sorted is a pain in the arse.

good luck
