I am going to unertake an engine rebuild at the end of the month and was looking into ways as to maximize the power output of my Zed.
I will be going with the Total TwinTurbo Rebuild kit for AMZ perfromance with GT28R turbos instaed of the amz turbos. I will also be running a standalone engine managemet (haltech, microtech or DTA). 720cc injectors will also be in the mix as well as a water injection system since i live in the hot tropics. if funds permit i might go with a nismo crank as well (fingers crossed)
I already purchased an HKS front mount intercooler with full hard pipes , evo7 recaros and R33 GTR brembo brakes..currently running a 3" custom exhaust which will eventually be swapped for a borla set up (anyone ever tried the borla exhaust system?)
Well my question is will rasing the TT 8.5:1 CR to lets say 9.5:1 or even 10:1
make sense? Has it ever been done?
My plan is to run low boost for everyday street driving and race gas and high boost at the track.
Any info on high compression and boosting is welcomed
