Tiscali offer me £28.98 a month for 8mb broardband and free phone calls inc line rental. i pay close to £30 for just my broadband at the mo. so is anyone with Tiscali and what do you think of them

I've been with Tiscali for years, and I've never had any problems with them. I've never once dropped a connection, and my onlince speeds on Xbox have always been top notch, no matter what time of day or night.

Been with Tiscali from the start, and Lineone (when Bt owned it) and have had nothing but great service. The dial-up and now broadband have been very reliable. I've used their 1mb and 2mb connections and not had any problems.

However, a couple of my mates had Tiscali's 8mb Max connection and their download rates sometimes dropped to a rediculously low level during peak periods. They switched back to 2mb, not had any problems since.

^^ I'll keep an eye on that then as I'm just going through the upgrade process to 8meg.

I'm on tiscali. Seems to work fine for wha I want but don't really online gaming. Do have 3 or 4 machines on the network at the same time though.
