A big thanks to Skyline Dave for organizing this one.

A great turnout as is now usual at Midlands meets.

Too many of us turned up to get on the reserved table at one time so we had to have two shifts. :D Hardly surprising given that this was Mothers Day.

I felt that we were made very welcome here. The food was good, well priced and for such a busy day the service was good too.

Several cameras were in action so I will just post this shot of the "second sitting" LOL!

BTW ...apologies to Shel who was facing the wrong way when I pressed the button! :o

EDIT: Right i agree, see you there :D lol

...aaaaand relax!

i'd been a bit worried about the small venue and it being mother's day but in the end it went quite well. my apologies to those who had to wait for a while until one of the other greedy beggars left the table :o and a big thanks to The Forge for being able to (very nearly) accomodate all of us. nice to meet some new people too. i think the last of us left at just the right time as five minutes later all hail broke loose and it totally chucked it down! some pics from my phone:

I for one thoroly (shit spelling :D ) thought the day was superb, I got to talk to more folks this time and felt abit more part of the club, I think that happens more and more each time so to all you newbies keep comming you will allways be welcome.

A good turn out again and a warm welcome from the pub, food was great and cheap which is good cos i'm a tight arse.

Nice one Dave.

Another good meet, great to catch up again and also to meet some new faces. Food was good too, shame the weather couldn't have behaved itself a little better. Look forward to the next one. :duffer: :duffer:

Good day out today, good pub, good food, good price, good company. I've even bought one of these 'modern' Zeds now so I may have to join the other good Z club!

Oh yeah as me and Magnum5 were leaving it chucked it down , hailstones, snow and sleat, couldn't see a bloody thing, it was a bit scary driving had to slow right down as it was dangerous driving conditions, got back to Warwickshire and it was like it never happened, though my car is covered in crap from the spray, sludge and the gritters (I only washed it on Saturday) :(

and the nice man with the portable tool kit (sorry didn't get your name) all sorted now :D

That was me

Even though I wasn't in Rat, it was great to see everyone again, and a good turnout too.

Hopefully I'll be Zedded for the next one :D

Had loads to do, couldn't trust the weather, mothering sunday, and all sorts of other excuses. LOL.

Looks like you had a good one. Maybe I'll make it next time...

thanks everyone for making my first meet a good one, i realy enjoyed my self, i will be coming to a lot more :D

Yep another well organised Midlands meet  Well done Dave.

Yeah, we just got back to Karens when the 'blizzard' started, so had to shelter in the car for a few mins for it to die-down a little.

I'll post some pics up, just as soon as I'm not doing other 'PC power hungry' operations (can't say what I'm doing, as it's probably illegal (as usual!!)) I've got just over 50 pics between my little darling (Becks) and myself, so it'll take some time to sort them out. I've also got a great Caption Competition for you all :D (thanks Nick ;) )
