Cheers to You UNO, no 1 for keeping the engine for me, and for providing nice cuppa tea, during the removal of the engine, for me and the lads.

 

Basically ive now got UNO's engine, which due to the sad loss of his two tone zed, the engine will now have a new home in my zed. We started yesterday morning at just after 9.30am, a few cups of tea later, removal of the engine was completed by taking out the subframe and raising the body up. All the parts such as exhausts and gearbox are of the car.

 

Total time from start to finish 2 hours 40 mins.

yep the weather was perfect....if someone :x: had cut all the pipes/cables we would have done it in 2hrs easy peasy....:D

Just like to add to this, I got there about 8 last night, was made very welcome indeed, (although it comes to light that Chris cant count above 11 :x: ) Ive got the interior, exhaust, bovs and boost controller, top guy, nuff said. ;)

haha...yep you're right i got stuck on 11...mind you by the time you got there Pete i'd had 11 units of Harveys...so small wonder
