Genuine Garrett GT28RS .64AR Turbocharger GT2860RS 650 quid plus 18 quid delivery ...............any good for our zeds?? im looking at GT600R's at the moment but wonder if these would be better or are they a backward step from the 600R ?? they say they are good for 360BHP each ..........

they are well suited, but you'd need a lot of complementing mods to make the most of them (forged engine, manifolds, injectors,intercoolers etc)

 

They are bigger than the GT600R if you're referring to the Z1 models. The 600R is the same as the GT28R, still a good turbo, similar to the JWT530BB

i have Kirbz Border front mount IC and will be getting 555's and divorced downpipes dont want too much boost so not as yet planning forged pistons , only looking to run a streetable 400+ RWHP not into drag racing at the pod etc .........just want to humble a few local porsche owners at the lights and on the motorway

 

i might give Smithy a ring see if he can pick them up cheaper ,

 

is it a good price for the GT2860rs then ?? ..........
