Just watching it now, they have proved that the hand held speed camera is totally inacurate, and it adds approx 8mph to your speed, so people are being wrongfully prosecuted. Tut,Tut. :( :xxx:

the whole of germany scrapped there speed camera's because of there innacuracy, durham dont have any fixed speed camera's because they now they dont work, but as llong as something is making money for the fat cats of britain they will remain

that's why my bike speedo read's 10/12mph more then i'm doing ...and yes it does help ..... :)

 

i look down and i see 48mph and a speed trap ahead(30mph)..it's sh!t brake's ...go past at 32/35mph and so far so good .... :)

FOOK OFF... :xxx: ..it's a gsxr K3 1000...(that's 2003 to you )....the thing is i changed the front and rear sproke's..(rear bigger/front smaller) so the speedo is out about 10/12mph...

they have a system in germany that recognises if you are going too fast into a village / built-up-area, it will then trigger a set of traffic lights to RED to stop the speeding car!........these lights are then armed with cameras so if you jump the lights expect a letter on your doormat :wack:

 

i think this is a great idea as it would reduce the whole slow down then speed back up way of driving everyone seems to do thesedays once past a speed camera, . I know i'm guilty of it :(

 

the government have a duty to us, to provide a safe system that is agreed by the majority of the population, i feel they should investigate other options as they do exist :cool:

Last night about 6.30 there was a program on about these not sure if it was the same one and the guy took a reading from a stationary car or 30mph huh?? it was stationary!!

 

also if the camera moves away from the fixed point on the car while calculating speed it gives a false reading, imagine how hard it must be keep the camera say on the centre of the bonnet while the car is moving.

 

This is outragous!!
