I didn't get the instructions cos it was a freebie but the installation was pretty straight forward apart from one wire (grey) which I'm not sure where to connect it to but the timer lights up ok.

Now, when I put it on 30sec or any other time, it wont switch the car off but when I press the off button then it switches it off. Could this be because of the grey wire?

Also (with timer on) when I get out of the car and press the remote fob, it locks the car but it wont activate the alarm on.

 

Any ideas?

you should get a digital one.

my alarm never engages untill 5 seconds after my turbo timer switches off.

the grey wire is the safety circuit wire hence it wont countdown

i posted some links to wiring/instuction installs a long time ago

check here for yours, and im sure you will find info on the grey wire;)

Thanks for that mate, any idea what colour the parking brake wire is?

Looks like it's under the centre dash so I'll have to dig it out :rolleyes: Never mind eh. :duffer:

tbh no m8 i can't remember, you will have to strip the arm rest lighter etc and the wire is at the back of the hand brake

Well, I found the parking brake wire and connected the gray wire :dance:

and guess what, it still doesn't work :wack: Only difference now, it turns off when I put the handbrake down. Seems like the timer is bust.
