The insurance commercial with the gay pirate with the parrot and the grown man crying really loud kills me, scramble to mute it everytime. I'd like to take a baseball bat to that guy and give him something to really cry about...

Awesome thread, well overdue!!

I voted for the Corsa one. While the others are equally ****, the Corsa one really annoys me. It's like they are trying to invent a new catch-phrase, but it doesn't make any bloody sense.

Creatures shouting "C'Mon" at a passing car? Fair enough if it was the driver, trying to hurry his passengers up, but it's just wrong.

However, the one that sends us flying for the pause button, is the "Yoooooooooooooooooo" (Click) ;)

AND WHY DOES BARRY HAVE TO SHOUT ALL THE TIME!!!!!!

I quite like the "Josh, Dad's found ye scoo-ahh" one, lol. Thought the wifey was quite sexy.

What's the one with the big fat grumpy guy, "are you in dept" etc etc. Reminds me of the fat guy from that famous Monty Python sketch..."Just a wefah theen meent sir" lol.

There's loads of good adverts though. May need to start another thread for that ;)

Any Tampon add does it for me when I get home from work to have my dinner and they put TAMPON adds one......should be banned at meal times.

Man those Halifax ads really piff me off. Especially the new one with that silly lady with the annoying voice. Although I can see why people might like them and they actually are a good idea getting the actual employees in on it rather than those crappy loan ads with the people on the phone.

Actually I wanna change my vote.... oh well.

It was a close call between Cillitt Bang & Kia Cee'd... But that flammin Kia advert!!! :headvswal

Do you remember the 'Vauxhall Phenomena' Ad a few years back.. "It's a phenomenon" ... The guys on Top Gear used to refer to it all the time (taking the p.ss of course :) )

  • 4 weeks later...

thought i'd bring this back to life due to a new ad that gets my goat. The new linx advert and those stupid tarts acting like complete cnuts doing that stupid dance b0ll0x and sing boom chicka wow wow, fooking stupid tarts fook off do you realise how stupid you look :smash:

the norich union direct advert really fooks me off that music does my head in and it's on nearly every ad break on sky cant believe no one has mentioned it

Any of those nauseating (sp?) marks & spencer ad's.

'it's not just easter food, it's m&s easter food'

Yeah right, **** off! It's the same tat you find in aldi, just

with shiney wrappers.

There are too many commercial breaks nowadays

A few years back if you were watching an hour long programme, there used to be 2 breaks at 20 minute intervals (IE the programme was in 3 "parts"), excluding the adverts before the start and after the end credits.

Now in a show like The Bill (I know  ) there are 4 breaks, the first one 5 minutes after the programme starts :headvswal

Fekking annoying

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
