Now, I've always thought 'cheap and nasty', but I'm thinking if you were to paint the centres they'd look ok. The offset is a little high though (42), they might need some spacers to fit nicely, about 7mm.

Mmmm.. The offset is right on the limit actually :(

Believe me the amount of hassle i had to get mine on cost me 100 quid for a set of spacers as Slick Pete said better to buy wheels made specifically for the zed otherwise you'll hit problems

I had to fit these to get my front ones to fit...

Yes.. I was just looking at James Funge's wheels on another thread, and I believe he has just bought a set of wheels from the same seller.. He says he had to fit 10mm spacers on the front & 3mm on the rears. His wheels do look the part though, a lovely deep dish & only £500 + rubber..

So what offset would be a perfect fit for the zed then? 35?

I've got them on mine and have 5mm spacers on front and nothing on the rears with standard brakes. At least I think they are the same wheels, mine are under the Ruff Racing brand.

Hope that helps,

Andy

Yup I think the first set would go very nicely on a Blue SWB.

Since you have a fair bit of viewing pleasure, some nice disks and a coat of bayside blue on the calipars would look pretty sweet too :)

Yeah Gary.. the first one's are the one's I really had in mind.. but since seeing 'James Funge's' set fitted, I am swayed more towards them, but a tiny bit more expensive.. Same seller.

Having said that, Stu's suggestion of the first set with nice discs, and Bayside blue calipers sounds very tempting... :)

I am in negotiations with the seller of the wheels, to see if he will throw in a set of slip-on spacers to make up the off-set :D ... He hasn't replied yet though
