Im looking to buy a 300zx after a lady riding a fairlady owned my scooby on wednesday morning on the m56 northbound hi to the lady , :) can u guys n dolls help me out in what i should be lookin for and any info on engine ware that i shud look out for ? thanks alot !!

If you're after a Scooby thrasher, then you'll need the Twin turbo, either manual or auto, both can be tuned equally as well.

 

And as mentioned previously, you need a black one as they are scientifically proven * to be the fastest colour.

 

However, the zed is a very complex animal, and when something goes wrong it can take a while to figure out exactly what :wack:

 

This forum is essential for any owner though, and problems can usually be sorted out within a couple of years ;)

 

Prices for Zeds are all over the place, but if you're prepared to travel then you can pick up a bargain. Personally I would reccomend a Jap import, as they won't have been attacked by the brittish roads all their lifes like the unfortunate UK models :(

thanks for all the info and welcomes everyone im lookin for one with a sound engine it dont really matter what the body looks like ill trim and paint it to its best as i work in a body shop rub it up the right way and u get the moist out of it lol did i say moist i ment most :P

I have to Disagree with my Mate Wozzer though. I think it all depends on how deep your pockets are.

 

If your looking to spend £8000 then you can import a monster all done. The same kind of car will cost you about £20K to £30K to build over here. I know because I've eaten the pie.
