Hello chaps. Just lately (this seems to happen when I haven't used the car mon-fri)the digital clock doesn't come on for about 10 - 20 miles. I assumed it was a slightly flat battery, especially as the weathers been freezing. Also when I turn the lights on the clock dims, it's always done this, is it correct ?

the clock is ment to dim with the lights switched on, the problem you have got could be a very easy fix, if you are handy with a soldering iron, if not there a few people on here how may have a look at it for you, myself being one of them.

Speak to AndyP mate he's the don with clocks. Also when your lights are turned on the climate display should dim too.

Cheers fella's, I suspected the clock and climate control dimmed when the lights are switched onbut I didn't know about the clock not coming on all the time. Merlin, I'll probably be in touch about a helping hand with the soldering if thats ok with you ?

I wish mine dimmed with the ignition on, or that i could go back in time like the clock tells me each time i switch the ignition on!....You're lucky to have one that doesn't have a mind of it's own!!;-)
