What engine has it got?

Edit - I see now

V8 Engine

The high-revving V8 petrol engine delivers 420PS, spontaneous response and a thrilling engine sound. It punches the R8 through the 62mph barrier in just 4.6 seconds.

I'd still 'do' it in me Hillman Imp. ;)

Why was may Gay post removed.....? Jason are you this evenings MOD..?

may gay? Isn't that what they say when the plane's going down?

I think that is truly one of the most gorgeous designs for a car i've seen in a long time. Such a pretty but aggresive design :D

Well I'll be fooked.............

I was driving home just an hour ago along the A406 (north circular road) and every half mile or so were these adverts (big billboards) I couldnt read the words but the car in the picture looked fookin lovely. I knew it was an Audi but couldnt read in time what model it was. I get in and bang there it is. The new R8. Audi just keep going from strength to strength. I would rather an Audi any day than a Beemer.

I always liked audi and bmw because they stuck to traditional mean beefy looking cars like the S4 R6 and M3/5 etc without going for these weird ugly new shapes. But looks like audi are now folowing the masses, think its horrible.

Hear what ya saying Paul, theres is nothing like a meaty car, but I still like this tho. :D

I’ve had a couple Audi’s coupes one been a Quattro, great in the rain but stupid money to run because the coupes are rare. Still mega nice.

Wow an Audi that looks like a proper sports car!

There's a lot of Porsche style bits on that I think :)

Can't wait to see one on the road and kick its assssss!

Yes you are right, so my 12 year old tells me  , and it is quick as in the game, but he still beat it with a skyline.

The Top Gear magazine thats currently out has a review and puts it through its paces against a Lambo Gallardo. Makes for an interesting read!

I think I'd rather have the Vauhall VXR supercharged 6 litre V8 that's coming soon - 540bhp for less than £40k.

Yep Chris I'm sure you would.

I can change my mind. Stop picking om me.

I would have had the Noble if her in doors hadn't found out how much I'd spent on the Zed last year. Then my self preservation instincts started me having Mrs Bobbett night mares.
