Just got it back with the new gearbox... my boost gauge works but the car seems slow... the turbos make a whining noise and it doesnt seem to boost properly.. ive got the jap auto tt with -7 - +7 on the boost gauge.. it boosts to around 6 but it doesnt seem to go anywhere if you get my drift.. theres no smoke under acceleration and no smoke on idle.. what is happening are my turbos fooked? if so how much would it cost for a new set?

 

any ideas on this problem?

Boost leak perhaps? Make sure all he large vacuum hoses are tightly clamped.

just been driving it all evening, it seems to boost properly when you kickdown however the gearbox sometimes doesnt change gear until you kickdown and then the boost kicks in any ideas?

You state 'got it back', from where ? do you mean a garage ? I would take it straight back and let them know you are not happy, the sooner the better.
