Right guys 'n gals I'm currently in the process of putting together a photo shoot.

 

I have the use of a model, a photographer for the day and we have a location.

 

What I NEED to know is.... Who's interested in a (female) model posing with their Zed?? :D

 

 

Now this won't be a freebie, it'll cost, but the more GUARANTEED members that are up for it, the cheaper it'll be for all. But, like I've said, I need to know names. The location in the centre of the Midlands, so I'm sorry if you're up in Scotland or the opposite direction, but I'm trying to keep it central.

 

Date wise........ This Sunday, 10th June.

Leigh (friday), our original photographer, does have a very good reason as to why he can no longer do this for us, and I fully agree with him on that.

 

So far I've had a couple of offers, of which, so far, have come to nothing!

This has also been posted on the ZClub site, but without any decent response so far.

It really is like getting blood out of a stone within the Z community, people always complain about this and that, but are never prepared to put out themselves, unless it's to boost their own image!

It always amazes me, that when I was a member of the Capri club, you'd always see members doing this and that and people would always join in, and that was without the aid of the internet, but on here you never see that level of enthusiasm at all.

I'm still working on this everyday I get the chance (in between work), so i do have a couple of things in the pipeline at the moment.

As soon as I have a price for the photographer I'll be sending out PM's to all concerned, and will be asking for a 50% deposit (this is so that I'm NOT left with a fooking great bill at the end of it all!!)

 

I'm still amazed that we can't even get twenty members interested in this! I'm surprised that three members din't even bother to respond to my PM's!! And I'm now just waiting for all the members that can't be bothered to pay up when the time comes, or am I just becoming a little too cynical?? ;) We'll see.

Any news yet Dave? Were they any good? ;)

Sorry guys 'n gals, but I'm now sick to death of chasing photographers up, so I'm cancelling this indefinitely, at least until I can find someone willing to talk properly to me and knows what they are doing.

2. If they don't, make 'em pay anyway :slap:

3. AND make them personally apologise to you and eat a little humble pie on the forum for everyone to see :tongue:

4. Post a nice pic of TastyWelshie on the forum to "encourage" a few late entries :D

 

Hard to know what to do when you have tried to put on a fun event for other folks benefit and they can't even be arsed to stick to what they said they'd do. :rant:

 

Whatever happens I WILL be getting some pics of Stacey with my zed at some point this year ;)

It is unfortunate that some members have had to cancel, but each person has their own reason, and I respect that.

It is a shame that this is falling apart at the last minute, but to be honest I did expect this to happen, hence the PM's I sent out last night.

We currently have ten members that are still willing to attend, but to be quite frank that's not enough.

Dividing Stacy's fee alone will work out at £25 per car, to that I've got to add in Simon's costs (our photographer) Even taking a complete stab-in-the-dark (and DON'T quote me on this!) at Simon's cost, I'd say we'd have to put another £20 on to Stacy's costs. So that's around £45 per car just for the shoot, let alone your own travelling costs.

I need some real serious answers back on this within the next 24 hours, or I will be cancelling it. It won't be fair on Stacy, Simon and Jeff to let them down any later than that.
