I had to remove the middle section of my exhaust at the weekend so my mate could weld it where it had split.

It is a blitz system as far as i know but i need some new gaskets for the re-fitting.

Does anyone know where i can get some new gaskets please? Or can i get away with that gasket sealer paste?

cheers

ross

no they werent metal, and they all disentegrated when they came off, they were all brittle

automotive silicone sealant is the best when sealing exhaust flanges.paste can blow out over time whereas the silicone stays flexible.

Jimmer, who makes that sealant? Would I get it it any motor factors?

Any of the known brands like instant gasket,or hylamor will do the job a treat mate.I learned of this years ago from a stainless steel exhaust builder.used it ever since even on mild steel systems and never had a problem.
