wahoo been to the scrapyard today for a part for my mates jeep and what do i see in the corner under a tree.............a tt that had been rolled well battered, but as i needed some trim bits i had a poke about

the owner came out and said everything was going cheap on that car so i got some trim bits for a fiver and under the 3 inch of water that was in the bottom footwells was a set of genuine zed mats a bit soggy but in good nick, i asked him how much he wanted for the mats and he said i can have em for free............so i took them home got the missus to stick them in the washer and there now drying on the washing line.........so it just goes to show that there are more places than ebay to grab a bargain..top result as mine were missing and ive heard there getting a bit rare

yeah mate better than sweety shops

Scrap yards are great! Can find some great stuff. I remember when I needed an arch trim for one of my GT Turbo's I went to our local scrappie and found a GT Turbo that had a few nice performance mods (nice big (roller bearing iirc) turbo, collins t3 actuator etc) all in good nick. managed to bag the lot for 50 quid!
