Failed MOT need options

My Z failed the MOT, not that I was suprised. biggrin.gif One of the things it failed on:

Front suspension top mount

Does anyone know of an uprated supension top mount or do I have to replace it with a standard Nissan one?

I know HKS to a solid top mount kit but I think that would be a bit pricey!

Cheers,

What did they mean? - get them to be specific. If it is the top link inner bush then there is a Nissan bulletin on this - search on "bulletin" or "top links" to trace the thread on it. One of mine has a little play and both top links are less than 20k miles old. It seems that 5mm play is permitted at the wheel end of the top link. Some testers take any play at all as a fail. Mine's passed last week and I showed them a copy of the bulletin just in case. The tester said the suspension and steering on mine was OK anyway. I could feel the play though when I jack it up.

Hope this helps
