Got a koyo rad which im fitting to my car and ive put it in the engine bay for a little taster of what its gonna look like(my engines out for rebuilding).and ive noticed the top brackets dont match the profile of the core.is there a common mod to be made to enable them to be used.my second question is do maplins sell 28pin eprom sockets and what is the going rate for getting one soldered in?.

If yer mean using teh existing rad support brackets, yer can just remove the rubber inserts for a quick fix, apart from that an actual full stainless new bracket to suit the koyo looks the best.

I took out the rubbers on my std mounts bud, is ok but doesnt sit as nice as I like.

Smithy...any idea where I can get the top rad mounts for koyo ;)

It's a complete length of folded stainless steel, looks rather nice. I've supplied a few before from the US, they cost around 70 quid though!! hence why around the end of next week am doing me own with a rather nice design ;) if yer in no hurry, should be a couple of weeks and these will be available.

Defo count me in for one please :D

Let me know how much and I'll bundle it together with the clutch/brakes booster hoses order you gave me prices for earlier :D

Cheers

Im fitting mine using fabricated side mounts that bolt in the threaded lugs of the Koyo.

its not an original idea. I borrowed it off Manta V8 and Keith5700. :o

I am then looking at making a custom built smooth top cover possibly in polished ally. :D

i know I shouldnt really as I dont do Bling :slap: :nono:

but the brackets are finished in satin black dont worry!!!
