Is the SWB availble with an Auto?

I thought it was manual only but maybe that's just U.S cars...

i dont know ! plz help me ppl !

I dont think either auto or manual is going to give any more problems than the other, Its far more important that you get the best car you can find. You will have more to worry about than gearbox reliability if you buy somethin with shagged turbo's. I have heard that the auto box can struggle to cope with power over 400bhp ish but I think this can be prevented by fitting an upgraded oil cooler or something like that, the auto boys will be able to tell you better.

Paul

As someone whose Z has eaten 2 auto boxes in the space of 60000 miles, and who has recently converted to a manual, I'd say the manual is the least likely to mess up, there's less to go wrong with them.

Any more help plz ,

What is the difference between the uk cars + the jap ?

Any other differences between the shot wheel base + the 2+2 ?

I was reading that the TT only does 0-60 in 6.5 , i thorght it was faser than that !

I want to b a quick as supra RX7 etc !

(has any one got a pik of a 2 seater !)

Nothing really, just a few cosmetics, lights positioned differently, JAP in KPH

None. 2+2 is longer and slightly heavier

You read that on Supercars.net? Did you read the arguments about it. Official stats say 0-60 in 5.2 and 1/4 in 13.8.

They are as quick as them. They may have a slight edge, but a few hundred quid will make your ZX go even faster.

Only thing 1 person here has a 2 seater. They look exactly the same. The way you can tell is 2 seaters have the petrol cap on the front side of the rear arch, and the 2+2 the petrol cap is on the rear side of the rear arch.

Stu u r the gurew !!!!!!

Just to point out.

All UK ZX's are 2+2 Twin Turbos.

Hi, I have a 2 seater TT manual, Japanese import. They are also available with Auto boxes. Drop me an e-mail if I can help with any specific info. Ciao, Geoff

Iain,

.....they didn't say which year though!!!!

The wide arches have been fitted together with the rear bumper - looks good. Even with the (49mm) spacers, the wider UK spec rear wheels look lost. I can see it won't be long before I have to get a better set of wheels.

Nice to hear from you again, and I will post some pics when done.

Cheers, Geoff

Owning Both a UK Spec Auto TT and a Jap Spec SWB Auto TT I recommend you go for the short wheel base. Its lighter, faster, more agile.

My SWB is for sale check white Z in rides section.
