never thought i'd be writing this but some f*****g c**t has just crashed into me. even worse he drove of!!!! :rant: :rant: :cry: so unbelieveably upset. was nearly in tears. been to the police already and reported it but very little little they can do cos i didn't get the reg number. sooooooooooooooooooooo angry :rant: :rant: does anyone know of anything extra i can do? i'm ok by the way. :mac1: will post up some pics tomorrow.

this happened to me. the guys fooked off even though i had the reg plate and the police had pulled him the night before for no tax or insurance, they could not prove he was driving.

 

It went to court but the offence against me was so trivial to his others it was not warranted as even deserving a mention so i got fook all !!

 

you can try and recover losses from the uninsured losses board but in my case it was a no no, due to lack of evience etc

 

anyways i know how you feel love, they deserve breying to a pulp

Like FairladyZgirl says, the uninsured motor bureau wotsit may pay out - it's not quick but they will sometimes.

it took 12 weeks to get a door out of Nissan

thanks everyone. really appreciate all the advice and comments. won't be going through the uninsured claims route. got absolutely no evidence except for the fookin dent in my car :rant: going to find out who owns the cctv cameras around the area and see if i can get anything from that. i might be lucky but i'm not holding out much hope.

 

as for the damage, he's managed to dent my d/s door and rear wing and bend my alloy :rant: :rant: looks mostly superficial but i won't really know till i get my brother to look at it. it was a pretty low speed collision. i will get some pics up tomorrow.

my heart just sank when i saw it this morning. think i might be needing a new door and rear wing. anyone know if that wheel could be repaired? the metal isn't cracked or split anywhere i can see.

if it is a split rin you can get a replacement part, I wouldn't trust it after had be repaired.

^^^^ thr rim that is. you must be gutted, I am still awaiting my reart quarter to be fixed which happend 3days after getting the car. so I know how you must feel

This sort of thing makes me sick....It happened to me once and I just saw red. It's a good job I didn't find them.

I hope you do manage to find it's all caught on cctv as the police will then have to do something as it was a 'Leaving the scene of an Accident'

 

I hope you can nail the barsteward and get your Zed put back to way it was before.

put an advert in the local free paper .....does your neighbours car or anybody you know have recent damage to the front . maybe with black paint work on it ?? possibly a red car looking at the scratch on yours ....you mightget lucky ..cant do anything to help pay for the damage but you might get an address and the chance for some pay back .........paint stripper and a brick through his windscreen etc etc ...gutted for you mate
