when my car cools down i get full boost,when it heats up i loose boost again,must still be that same pipe,gonna trim it down !

What does the ECU diag say?

I suspect the ECU is detecting a bit of detonation and putting the car into safety boost of 7psi.

The Z is always in safety boost until it's warmed up.

To quickly check this make sure the engine is warm and your boost drops off. Stop the car and switch off the ignition for a few moments. Start the car again and see if you have full boost again. If you do it sounds like the det sensor doing its job. You can check by doing an ECU diag also.

You can bypass the detonation sensor as when using a boost controller the boost solenoids are disconnected which disables safety boost anyway. See Tech Stuff. AndyP Tech Links for how to do this.

Personally I would remove the boost jets and wait until you get a controller and boost gauge as the stock one is not up to the job.

Another thing to try is some higher octane fuel which will reduce the chance of detonation.

Go try a tank full of Shell Optimax or just Super Unleaded if you can't get the other.

May make a difference.

 

i'm on optimax now ,been using it since yesterday,ive been driving the car all day now,dont think ive lost any bost,ive not really pushed it too hard today tho!i'll let u no if it happens again.

ive bought those fogs for ya today £8 if ya want them,(the skinny ones),ive got the round ones for ian 2,when i give him his i'll give him urs if ya still want them?
