Any reputable garage should be able to fix that. ;)

what else other than the wishbone do you recon will be damaged, considering the wheel is offset at least an inch?

If you have a TT then the hicas unit could well be buggered which would explain the feeling of going sideways

Would be worth getting the whole rear suspension\diff subframe out and seeing what is bent.

I did the same thing in the summer

Bottom wishbone, subframe, shock absorber, wheel brg, and wheel

I had the whole lot out and changed all the bushes and hicas joints.

I would check the track arm, the driveshaft and top wishbone too.

I hate to scare you but i did all the work myself and it cost me nearly £700 and if you put the labour of a garage on top god knows how much it will cost.

manta!! thought you were off to spain!!

anyone else any horror stories liKe scrawni?

anyone any nursery rhymes to mame feel better?

When I spun mine like that I organised for a specialist zed mechanic to sort mine out. I paid less than £700 and didn't need to worry about it.

Drop me a PM if you like and I'll give you the name and number of the mechanic...
