Ok we just sent off a customers two turbos to have them rebuilt as the seals had gone in one. We were bargaining for about £200 each from our phone conversation but they have come back to us and said that they are both bin jobs and they would cost £1100 inc vat to be sorted....

 

Well thats not going to happen so what are my options please.

 

300zx, Auto, Uprated Intercoolers. It was running the 360 bearing.

 

Who are the turbo guru's on this site ?

 

If its like my GTO you can get rebuilt upgraded Tubs for half that money !

 

Advice please as we want this car back together again next week.

Bloody hell that,s steep , For a standard re-con i was charged £175

+vat each , they quoted an extra £100 each to fit 360 bearings .

But if your cores are shot and you need a good pair for re-conning , the old ones i took of mine are ideal , had them visually inspected by the same company and they spot on for a re-con , no damage to the blades and minimal play in the bearings , only replaced them cos they were smoking after de-catting .
