my zed is driving me mad

when i disconnect my nearside headlight bulbs the offside works fine, but when i connect up the passenger side all four front lights ( dip and main ) glow dimly regardless of what setting they are on ( ie dip or main ).

Have checked fuse in offside footwell, have checked and swapped relays under bonnet and its still the same !

any ideas would really be appreciated

Yeah i thought that might be the case, are the nearside bulbs fed by the power of the offside bulbs, or is it on a totally different circuit ?

17year old wiring, you got a short somewhere or a bad earth

Check the fuses under the bonnet (pass side by in relay box) one of mine was blown & it was causing my lights to behave mental.

disconect dipped headlights turn them on check live feed is ok, if ok try runnin some new earths hope it helps thats the way i'd try it
