:hyper: Purchased a 300ZX SWB NA slick top two weeks ago.

:rant: First job was to replace heater matrix. That done, I'm attemting to reconnect under the bonnet as it was bypassed. There is no room to work between fire wall and engine. Am I missing a trick :confused:

Yes you go to your local Junior school and pay the kid with the smallest hands to get in and do the job!

Remove as much as you can above the pipes and swear a lot at cutting your hands open as you try to fit the pipes. Its the only way bud.

It can be done , i managed it and my hands are like a bunch of Bananas :D :D

it is indeed a pain in the arse... what i used to help myself see was a mirror.. i put a mirror down the bottom where the gearbox is and then you can see through the mirror where to fit the pipes on the back of the engine etc..it can take many attempts to get the pipe in the right place.. so patience is needed!

I found the pipes not too bad when I did mine, it was getting all this sh1t back in the right place that was the git!

If its a manual do it without dash removal as well (just have to remove clutch box).

mine needs doin too and its been bypassed before i bought it :headvswal am not lookin forward to it at all AND am a mechanic by trade lol i would leave it due to the warmer weather coming up but i just feel like am neglecting the car :nono:
