Cleaned the oil strainer out?

I've dropped a manual box that wasnt that hard.

I think the torque convertor makes the auto box a little harder, but not 100% sure.

ok thanks how do i clean the oil strainer out

you need to remove the autobox sump, and all will become clear

IF your box has a drain plug will make the job easier, otherwise you need to get it in the air to get under properly m8

yes m8 the sump is the one with all the 10mm bolts

and once you have it off its a doddle to clean, its metal mesh

if theres any sign of wear/holes be better to replace, but otherwise a swill round in some petrol, if you have bits of carbon etc then its bit of the bands breaking up:( if your VERY lucky you may find its just shite

have you checked the colour of the auto fluid and smelt it ? ie dark brown and burnt smell aint good news

also when you say PLENTY of fluid, you can cause as much damage with to much fluid as not enough
